e-Laser Corporation is a state-of-the-art facility that remanufactures laser printer toner cartridges. There is a vast difference between the recycling and remanufacturing of a toner cartridge. The recycling process is basically the inspection of a used cartridge and then (only) replacing the visually worn-out components as necessary. This “recycle” process does not assure a complete cartridge printing cycle since not all of the internal parts may be able to support and keep the imaging quality for the life of the refilled cartridge. e-Laser, therefore, “remanufactures” the cartridge so that it is as completely compatible as a new cartridge. In the remanufacturing process each cartridge is completely disassembled down to the components including the hopper, waste bin, wiper blade, drum, magnetic roller and doctor blade. All these components are pressure cleaned with triple processed, and chilled, compressed air (filtering dust contaminants plus oil and water). Utilizing the Torit Corporation vacuum system (considered to be the best available) filters and captures all toner dust to keep the manufacturing facility, and the environment, perfectly clear and clean of any toner/dust. All worn components are replaced with new, which, in all cases meet original manufacturing specifications. Each cartridge is then fully assembled and adjusted, and inspected to assure that the remanufacturing process has been perfect in every way. Each fully-tested cartridge is then heat-sealed in a light-blocking, heavy gauge, plastic bag. The cartridges are then inserted into recycled material box liners and packed into recycled material cartons. e-Laser also provides return mailing materials so that after the cartridge is used and the toner depleted, it can be returned to e-Laser so as to continue the recycling process of the cartridge and packaging materials.
